Purple Power "Green" Smoothie
- 1-2 bananas
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 2 cups soy milk
- 2-3 generous handfuls of raw spinach
This drink is so nice that my cat Jones had to get in on the camera action. She loves smoothies! This is a "green" smoothie because of the healthy greens jam-packed in there, but the berries and banana really help to sweeten things up. All you have to do is add the ingredients into the blender and blend, blend away. Add more or less soy milk depending on how thick you'd like the drink to be. This is the kind of smoothie you want when you are in need of some major energy and vitamins or you're trying to kick a cold (or even prevent one!) If drinking your greens freaks you out, no worries, you can't taste the spinach! I promise! No, really...I promise. Drink this and be happy...like Jones!

ReplyDeleteso glad you made it! it's such a good way to boost in some extra greens. the first time i made it, i only used one banana. the second time, i used two and that gave it the extra sweetness i thought it needed. i love smoothies.
